Russian academic Igor Panarin has been predicting the U.S. will fall apart in 2010.
In case you were wondering, apparently "Prof. Panarin, 50 years old, is not a fringe figure. A former KGB analyst, he is dean of the Russian Foreign Ministry's academy for future diplomats."

This was predicted years ago in the documentary Red Dawn.

The crap that people come up with is pretty funny sometimes. US might be running down (pretty much as the rest of the western world), but this could only happen in nationalistic Russian wet dreams :)
