Amazing.... He looks like a different person. Somehow you always thought he was a bit of a bumbling geek when you saw him, and now he's actually not that un-attractive...

If you look carefully you see that he's really just half the man he use to be. I see no other logic than that he must have divided into two individuals just to be able to complete the super-top-secret followup to LOTR: "Samwise: the other woman" at the same time as that ape movie.

He technically didn't work the weight off. It's just that when he was shooting Lord of the Rings he was actually pregnant with kong which he has recently given birth to.
