Rock Guys
Our supremely talented friend, the lovely Mara Carlyle, sends us this:
"2 new Rock Guys tracks have been unearthed during a recent excavation in Shropshire!!
For those of you unfamiliar with the legend that is Rock Guys (no 'the'), they were a band of siblings who made a series of seminal recordings in 1981/82 and whose band members may or may not have consisted of me and my brothers Benet and Gabriel...it's a secret...well, nothing is confirmed...but it was thought that only 4 songs (all classics, obviously) existed from the recorded Rock Guys archives...and now it appears that 'Been Away' and 'Dream Come True' have been hiding their light under a C60 bushel for the last 25 years... (Existing fans of Rock Guys will note that the new tracks see them 'going electric'...don't hate them for it...they were trying to evolve...)"
They are like a much better much tinier version of The Shags, except they can actually play. Utterly charming and visionary.
