Aphex Twin - Beetle
This java application visualises the repeated musical structures in a song. It makes me think of the often used term 'hook' when describing an easily remebered song. If you look at the hooks in a hit by Britney Spears, as seen above compared to an Aphex Twin track, it's easy to see why one song gets more radio play. Could this application be used by the record industry to produce songs with greater chances of success?

I think you messed up the image titles, i dont no such a repetetive Aphey Twin Track :D
